What Is A PTAC Unit?

A popular choice for apartments, hotels, and residences, packaged terminal air conditioners (PTAC) offer heating and cooling within one unit.

 

They are regularly designed to be enclosed in a wall, with one side exposed outside the building. If you are replacing your PTAC unit, Applied Energy specializes in matching your model with a more efficient unit that will have a similar if not an exact fit. This is especially important for our clients who simply want to swap out their old unit for a more efficient one. The new products available today offer a large reduction in utility costs when compared to some of the older equipment.

Ductless Split Air Conditioners

We offer a full line of ductless split air conditioners from the top manufacturers including Mitsubishi. For older houses that do not have the proper ducts in place to support an air conditioning system, a ductless split air conditioner is a great option allowing for single room temperature control as well as multi room. What is Included With Our Protection Package Maintenance?

Heating System (Furnace):

  • Inspect and calibrate thermostat

  • Check filter

  • Inspect heat exchanger for cracks

  • Clean burners and pilot

  • Lubricate all bearings as needed

  • Check for gas leaks

  • Inspect belt and adjust tension

  • Inspect flue and draft diverter

  • Check and calibrate fan control
